FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)
FDM is an abbreviation of Fused Deposition Modeling, a system developed by Stratasys, Inc, USA. It enables to process the larger model very precisely with fused deposition by a heating dissolution of the materials, rapid control of the head part, and vertical movements of Z table. FDM utilizes only the minimal quantity of materials for an efficient use. Moreover, comparing to SLA (Stereo Lithography Apparatus), the products made by FDM have greater durability and enable to adhere other parts made by NC machining and/or FDM itself. Durability of the complex is equivalent to the traditional ABS products.
